There are a few maps that indicate where lures and hunts can be found. We have this page marked in our Discord, and here is the page so you can bring them up. Hunt Maps. Step 1: The lures. We can all find the first level of lures, regardless of where we are in the campaign. There are 3 levels to get, each one setting up the fight for the next. To get gear one must work their way up through all 3 levels of the hunt, building lures as they drop along the way. This means we're going to need a LOT of the base level lures. Where to get them? Check out the maps linked above to see the locations. Note however that the creatures that carry them don't always load in those areas. For example, most often chultan tigers load together in a spot. Sometimes Smilodons will load instead, and when they do you have a chance at getting the trophy from them. See the trophy list below to see what loads together in each spot. We will need a LOT of hunting for trophy's, especially Trex fangs.

Note: If you are reading this after mod 16 you will want to also read our update. The rest of this guide remains as of mod 16, but there are some additional steps for people new to the Summer Festival. The Summer Festival is here! This post is done in hopes of helping you make the most of this event. It may not seem like theres a lot there at first glance. In fact this is one of the major events of the year and can be the source of huge prizes. Hopefully the following guide will help you on your way.
The Underdark was mod 8 in Neverwinter, and now that we're moving up next to mod 12 its getting a bit harder to complete easily. Its still got some kick left in it with the rings available still ringing up as some of the best in the game.
Skirmishes are slower to queue. The justifiably criticized key changes known as 'keygate', have made those skirmishes so unrewarding that they are often not worth doing at all. This is considering the cost of keys in the campaign, and that it takes 20 minutes or so to finish one. What to do? Ill explain my strategy for finishing this in the modern game: Welcome to Summer in Neverwinter! Jubilee is Neverwinters anniversary celebration, this time around marking 4 years. As with many of our major events that is a lot to be accomplished, and often it isn't clear how to do it. This post will hopefully clarify that a little bit. There are some neat looking new prizes this year:
We'll outline how to get these prizes after the break.
A rare 50% off zen store sale was announced today. These have been few and far between in recent times. So if you have some spare zen it is a good time to look into it. If you want to buy your vip this would be about the best time to do it. http://www.arcgames.com/en/games/neverwinter/news/detail/10542363 Wanna be on this, our Forsaken Souls website? Well, now you can! You can see the members page in the top menu of the site. It may not remain there forever, but its a good place to make it easy to find while we fill it up with everyone who wants in. A few example entries have been made. See the simple one, under Paladins/Arnaem. The more extensive option you can see under Hunter Ranger/Elynaen or Control Wizard/Xael. The difference is that 'full bio page' option, where you can add text and pictures, like a banner, screenshots for a slideshow, and any bio you may want to write. We are coming to the end of another 2x Icewind Dale currency event. If you haven't done so yet, you may wish to swing through IWP and DV and do a round of quests. If you havent finished the campaign yet, even better! Even reputation is doubled.. so its a great help. This can also be a quick boost to enabling elemental infusion with your Black Ice Shaping profession. Another somewhat forgotten piece of the IWD campaign is the Blackice Forge. This is a strange hybrid between profession and campaign level. The first 3 stages you have to advance through the campaign and do daily/weekly tasks to level it. The final 2 stages require a massload of refined blackice and unified elements from alchemy. For those who have forgotten, or maybe never knew at all, the Blackice Forge profession is how one does Elemental Infusion. That is a one time process per item that permanently adds stats to eq from the dragonflight, alliance, elven, drow, and some PVP sets. If you wear any of that, its a great thing to tack on a few additional stats. The drow even lets you specialize it further through infusion changing the stats to a raid/assault version that you choose. Oh yes there are many quests available from the stronghold. A few are given out each day in the SH courtyard. These quests are vital to SH growth, and should be worked on over time as it can't be rushed. Note: changes have occurred with mod 14. This post is edited to update those changes. Changes will be marked with a * asterisk. Early on your coffer may fill up with your shards as the structures are held up behind Influence and other things. Do not throw shards away! As the SH grows in level you will be able to use all that you've collected, and you'll be happy not to have wasted them. They are a good source of guild marks which can be used to make a lot of AD. Quick Tips:
Read on to see a list of the quests and the rewards they offer: Discord is here! We've now added Discord to our Guild's communications. Its going to be a complement to our website and in game chat however, not a replacement for it. We've already tied the website into our Discord a few different ways, and more will come as we see whats useful. Most recently calendar events are posted there as reminders 15 minutes before they occur, and new posts to the website will be announced there as well. The Coffer is always hungry, and even if we dedicated all our time to it growth would be slow. Growing the stronghold is a huge challenge that takes patience, organization, and determination. Here is one view of how to optimize dailies to help the stronghold grow while using as little time as possible. Be sure to have your characters boons filled out for the areas you're working on. We've always felt that character improvement should come before donating to the guild coffer. Besides a stronger character makes for more efficient questing, and faster coffer gains in the future. |
