Welcome to Summer in Neverwinter! Jubilee is Neverwinters anniversary celebration, this time around marking 4 years. As with many of our major events that is a lot to be accomplished, and often it isn't clear how to do it. This post will hopefully clarify that a little bit. There are some neat looking new prizes this year:
We'll outline how to get these prizes after the break. 4 daily quests in different areas:
Do any of 1-4 to get a Protector's Bounty. This is one of our main goals in this event, to collect and open as many Bounty boxes as possible. The first bounty each day, and several after that may contain a quest scroll called 'Protection Orders'. This is needed to run item #4. After accepting the quest (Protection Orders) go to the SH and find the foreign merchant there. This also solves quest #5 from Elminster above. Often you can get a new set of orders when opening the Protector's Bounty chests you get along the way. You may be able to repeat 3 or more times just with your own drops. Even if you have no orders, join in with others as they run to get even more drops. Be sure to watch for, and pick up the purple Protector's Bounty drops, that's the major one you're after. The Green ones are fine too, but larger numbers of those can be gotten through the skirmish. The first bounty each day, and ones randomly after that will contain a figurine. So you get 7 easy ones over the course of the event. These figurines are the currency for buying some of the prizes above. The major prize these will buy is the Unicorn. Some like myself like the Protector's Garden key, though technically its not useful in the modern game. In the times before VIP and strongholds it was major timesaver. Now its a bit anachronistic, but somewhat useful between VIP periods. The other currency you get during Jubilee is Neverwinter Renown. They come in small quantities from the following the foreign merchants. The major source however is the skirmish The Protector's Speech where they come in larger numbers. Many also come from opening the Protector's Bounty and Protector's hospitality. What can I get?
Most of the prizes mentioned above that you can work for directly. If you put in the time, you'll definitely get the prize, and be able to monitor your progress along the way. The firebreathing emote is different. That one comes as a random drop from the Bounty boxes. There aren't major gamechanger prizes in this event that we've heard of, like a Forgehammer of Gond. There ARE however some great coupons that only drop during jubilee. IF your looking at buying some gear to for your character this is a great opportunity to make it a bit easier. Coupons of 10%-30% off the alliance seals, protector seals, tarmalune tradebar, and wondrous bazaar are all dropping. So you can get cheaper alliance and elven gear to wear or for more profitable salvage. A variety of items come from the tradebar store if you have those from opening lockboxes, from dusk and frostborn eq to mounts and artifacts. Finally a hugely popular discount is for the AD store, the Wondrous bazaar. The major feature here is getting cheaper greater/superior marks of potency for upgrading or sale. This coupon stacks with your vip discount too! The Gamepedia page is here; Neverwinter Jubilee. Its a bit dated, without much of the 2017 information, but you can get another view of the event in general. Neverwinter Unblogged, a site that writes about Neverwinter has a guide as well, Jubilee Event Guide.
